  • A VERY SPECIAL GOOD FRIDAY EVENING WITH HONEY OF THE HEART

A VERY SPECIAL GOOD FRIDAY EVENING WITH HONEY OF THE HEART

There are evenings when music becomes more than something we listen to — it becomes a doorway into connection, expression, and the simple remembering that we belong to one another.

On Good Friday, a day traditionally devoted to reflection, humility, and the remembering of the heart, Honey of the Heart invites our community into an evening of voice, presence, and shared humanity.

Rather than a solemn observance alone, this gathering honors the deeper spirit of Good Friday: pausing together, listening inwardly, and reconnecting with the living heart inside each of us. Through music, empathy, and collective singing, we create space for both tenderness and joy — a reminder that even in reflection, community can hold us with warmth. Workshop followed by soup potluck and CONCERT!!

Suggested Donation: $50 for the full evening $30 for either the workshop or concert portion.

No one turned away for lack of funds.

We deeply believe that music and community spaces should remain accessible.

Friday, April 3rd, doors open at 5:30 pm

This event will likely sell out! Secure your space by registering ahead of time. Click HERE for tickets. Limited tickets might be available at the door.

  • UNDERSTANDING YOUR SOUL

As of January 11th, a new group will begin this book study right after our

    Sunday Services. Sundays, 12 pm

  • THE BOOK OF KNOWING AND WORTH

THE BOOK OF KNOWING AND WORTH

I know who I am. I know what I am. I know how I serve.

Tuesday, January 13. Classes will meet from 12:30–2:00 pm.

Rev. Magie Buck and Claire Palmerino will co-facilitate a 12-week book study on the third Paul Selig text, The Book of Knowing and Worth, beginning Tuesday, January 13. Classes will meet from 12:30–2:00 pm.

In this channeled text, the Guides take us further along the journey of self-understanding as we recognize and embody the truth of who we are:

“As many of you wake up to who you are, how you see yourselves and the ones beside you creates a great opening for the human beings you are to align to your next level of an evolutionary process… And as you sing your song, you unshackle yourself from the evolution that was stopped when you were told you were not allowed to sing.” (p. 194)

This journey is undertaken not only for our own awakening, but in service to the human collective. Please join us in this shared exploration of knowing, worth, and embodied truth.

  • THE TWELVE POWERS OF MAN

    THE TWELVE POWERS OF MAN

3rd Wednesday of each month, 1-2:30 pm

In 2026, we will journey together through The Twelve

Powers of Man, devoting each month to one spiritual

power and exploring how it lives and moves through

our daily lives. Throughout the month, our services and

offerings will invite reflection and practice with that

power, and on the third Wednesday of each month, we

will gather for a deeper dive—creating space for study,

    discussion, and embodied understanding.

We begin in January by stepping into the power of

Faith—not as blind belief, but as a living, active trust in

the Presence and possibility of God within us. Faith

opens the door to vision, courage, and forward

movement, setting the tone for the year ahead.

3rd Wednesday of each month, 1-2:30 pm

  • JOIN Partners in English Language Learning

    TIMELY OPPORTUNITIES

JOIN Partners in English Language Learning and make life easier for non-native English speakers in our community. We all benefit from it.

Hundreds of Nevada County residents who are not native speakers of English feel lost when asking for directions, reading product labels, filling out job applications, talking to their children’s teachers, or making medical appointments. These hard-working, motivated families represent a growing number of adults living in our community, often invisible, who want to learn to improve or refine their English speaking and reading skills.
